Relaxing Sunday...

We're having a great weekend until so far!! Our neighbours stopped by this morning and because of the nice weather we were able to sit outside.. so great!!!

Yesterday we decided to go for a walk with our doggies near the river The Lek, not too far away from where we live.. We walked around for about an hour and the doggies had sooo.. much fun (at the end we had to carry them as they were so tired... hehe). Of course I took my camera with me...

Just can't believe that next week at this moment we'll be on our way to the US already!!! I know I'm talking about this a loooot lately.. hehe.. That's just because I'm soooo excited! I'm counting down the days!!!! We took our suitcases from the attic.. so now our preparation is really going to start!!! YAY!!!!

I just couldn't resist my Love, Elsie scraps again today..and I turned them into this little card:

I can spill my secret TOOT

A couple of posts ago I told you guys about my secret TOOT.. and today I can finally share it with you all!!!!!

I was asked to be the September Guest designer for One Page at a Time, a real cool kitclub.. I'm sooo excited as I love their kits so much!! Thank you sooo much Capella for this awesome opportunity!!!! I've received the kit yesterday and it absolutely ROCKS, so many yummie goodies!!!! You can see the contents of the kit here. I already started playing with the goodies today!!! So here's the first layout that I've finished (check out the rest of my creations here on my blog soon!)

Today I had another happy mail-day!! When I came home from work I found an envelope in my mailbox from my sweet friend Ingrid. She sent me a cute birthday card and added some yummie goodies (buttons & Prima flowers).. Thank you so much sweetie for thinking of me!!! You sooo made my day!!! (these are definitely my favorite colors!!!!!! YUM YUM)I can't believe it's Friday already today!!! Only 4 working days for me and then we'll be off for about 3,5 weeks! WOOHOO!!! Not too many plans for the upcoming weekend.. we're having our neighbours coming over on Sunday for a cup of coffee..and that's it.. YAY!! I'll be scrapping a loooot.. that's for sure.. hehe..

Thank you so much.....

... for all your sweet birthday wishes yesterday! I've had a great day with a little party at work, lots of cake, presents..and our dinner date was perfect..so romantic too... hehe... I was totally spoiled.. that's for sure!!! My parents stopped by before our dinner, for a champagne toast (Pascal took this picture..funny guy..hehe..)
And here's a little pic of my mom and I:Today I've been busy preparing more stuff for our US-trip.. the pile is getting bigger and bigger.. hope everything will fit in our suitcases.. whahaha.. I think we'll need our own private jet at the end.. whahaha!!!

I just finished this little card with some more Love, Elsie scraps.. I'm having HUGE deadlines coming up in the next week.. busy busy busy in the last days before leaving I think.. but that's great.. totally love everything!!!

(almost) Happy birthday to me!!

Yup.. it will be my birthday tomorrow (August 14th)!!! Turning 29 (getting older..whaha).. so next year up to the big "30" hehe...

We had our family coming over at our house yesterday for a birthday-BBQ. I was totally spoiled with all kinds of presents (new earrings, flowers, perfume (Armani)). We've had such a great time together.. the day started warm and sunny... but at the end it started raining soooo hard.. we had to run literary with our stuff inside to stay dry.. hehe..

Tomorrow I'll have a little party at work with some cake, then my parents will visit us and Pascal is taking me out for (a romantic.. hehe) dinner.. yum yum yum! Just can't wait!!!!

Oh and I played with some more (Junkitz) scraps this weekend and created this little Happy Birthday card with it..

It's Saturday!!!

Yup.. it's Saturday already!!!! We're having a great day with beautiful weather at the moment.. so we spent most of the day outside! This feels soooo good!!! Our doggies did the same.. relaxing.. hehe.. I've been busy scrapping during the last couple of days (I know.. some of you might think I'm a fast scrapper, as I'm always showing a lot of things.. but to be honest: I'm scrapping as slow as a snail!!! It takes me HOURS to create and finish a page!!!

Anyways..here's what I came up with.. a layout with some more pictures from our trip to France a couple of weeks ago:

And a little card.. created with some 3Bugs in a Rug scraps (yeah.. no pink for once! hehe):
I was asked a couple of times lately how we manage to always have pictures with the 2 of us in it.....some people think we always have someone around to help us with that.. buuuut.. we're always using our timer! You should see us running when the timer clock is ticking.. whahahaha!!! I bet that must be a funny sight for people who are walking by.. whahaha!!!

Well, gotta run.. dinner is ready!! (thanks for keeping your fingers crossed for us..it seems like we're gonna have gorgeous weather tomorrow for our BBQ!!)

What's my favorite color??

I bet that's not a difficult question for you, right?? whahahaha!! I just noticed that most of my pages have PINK in it!!!! Just can't help it.. I always need a little PINK on my pages.. hehehe.. What about you? Do you have a color that you keep using over and over again?

Here's my latest layout..with pictures we took during our trip to France! We just love walking around and take pictures!! That's so much fun (and sometimes the funniest part of our trips..hehe). I've used some more yummie Junkitz goodies here!!!

I'm so happy that it's Friday already tomorrow!! I'm sooo looking forward to the weekend.. it's raining again overhere.. but they said it will be a little better during the weekend. I hope so as we'll be having a BBQ on Sunday with some family members (for my birthday next week), so keep your fingers crossed for us that it won't rain that day!!

Happy Tuesday (and a new layout)

Time is flying by so fast lately.. ! In about 2 weeks and 5 days we'll be in Arizona at the moment, enjoying our 3-weeks USA-trip and visiting my sweet friend Janice for a couple of days, she and her family invited us over at their house.. so sweet!!! (we've already met IRL last year.... so we're not total strangers for her.. whahaha) Just can't wait until our vacation begins!!! We're gonna have so much fun!! I'll definately keep you guys updated during that time as we'll be bringing our laptop with us so I can post from everywhere!!! Woohooo!!!

I've had some deadlines during the last weeks..one of them was this layout for Scrap4life. Our DT was challenged to create a layout with a provided sketch.. this was sooo much fun..and it really made me step outside the box for once by using the patterned paper as my background!!!

Such a wonderful weekend!!!

We're having such a great weekend!!! Summer is finally here.. the weather is perfect and we spent most of the time outside!!! This is exactely what we needed!!! So what did we do the last couple of days??

Having a nice BBQ together in our back yard yesterday (so romantic.. hahaha):
Visiting a lake today:And I finally managed to take a good picture of one of our doggies (Twister).. he never wants to be photographed and runs away every single time I show up with my camera! But this time I got him.. whahahaha: In the meantime I also finished this little card with some Dreamstreet scraps, I really need to start working more with scraps as my pile is growing every day!! Hope you're all enjoying your weekend too! I'm having a day off tomorrow.. so plenty of time to start creating new things.. having plenty of ideas in my head already.. hehe..

Weekend!!!!!!!

My weekend has officially started!! YAY!!! I'm so happy! We don't have too many things planned for the upcoming days.. but we'll be enjoying the beautiful weather as it seems like our summer is finally going to start!!! Maybe we'll be able to go to the beach or something like that!! Just can't wait!!!! (and I'll definately take my camera with me to take some pics!!)

A new layout and.. tagged!!!

I've had so much fun playing with some more Junkitz goodies this week!! Just can't get enough of these papers and awesome embellies!! YUM YUM YUM!!!! This time I worked with the Fanciful line!!! (and with some pictures from our trip to my family in France a couple of weeks ago).

At this moment we're having a great sunny day overhere in The Netherlands (that's exactely what I was hoping for)! So happy about that! Just went out for a walk with our doggies and right after this post I'm gonna sit down in our backyard with a (scrap)magazine to enjoy the sun! YAY YAY YAY!
