A little card!

I hope you're all having a great weekend! Our weekend has been relaxing until so far.. I went shopping with my sister yesterday and today we stayed at home and had some friends coming over... right now it's time to sit down on the couch and relax a little bit more.. hehe..

I did scrap a little bit today.. I ended up creating this little card. (I've used Making Memories patterned paper here, I've added Doodlebug glitter to the scalopped edge of the card and I added some Diamond glaze to the dots on the chipboard flower.)
And look who I saw this weekend... yup.. my little niece Demi..the poor girl only knows me with my camera in front of my face.. whaahhaha...
Oh and on another note.. if you ever run out of your mojo.. and you need some inspiration... just go and visit the awesome blogs of Melissa Phillips and Sherry Wright. Both girls are so talented, sweet and creative!!!! Sooo.. what are you waiting for... go go go go... hehehe.

BTW Dutchies: check THIS out for more info about the new Cards Only magazine!!

Wishing you all a great Sunday and I hope to see you back on my blog soon.

Spring.. where are you??

Yup.. there's still no sign of Spring overhere in The Netherlands.. I soooo need some better weather.. it's so grey and chilly all the time... I need to feel the sun on my skin and relax in a chair in our backyard with a nice scrapbooking magazine.. hehehe..

My week has been a little hectic until so far.. not too much me time! I did have a fun night with 2 of my collegues yesterday evening, I invited them over to do some little crafts.. which was so much fun, I explained some little techniques and we chatted a lot.

So still no 'fresh' creations to show you (I hope to have some ME-time and energy this upcoming weekend). Buuuut.. I can show you another layout that I've created for CreativeXpress!!! This is really my favorite one! (and not only because of the PINK color that I've used.. whahahaha). The 2 sweet girls on my layout are Kimberly and Janice from Arizona.... I spent time with both of them during our US trip last year.. (I sooooo miss you girls.. I wish we could spend some more time together!!)
And some details (this little butterfly was created with my Cuttlebug and I've added some Doodlebug sugarcoating glitter on it!:

And some more details:

Hey Dutchies: did you hear the news???? There will be a new Dutch card magazine coming out as from next month (you can find some info on it in Dutch here)!! So cool!!! (you'll be able to find some of my cards in there too in the upcoming months.... I'm so honored!!!)

Ok, I'm off to bed now.. I'm almost falling asleep here behind my little computer.. hehe..

Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments over and over again!
