Winter Wonderland

I've had a terrible busy week.. so not too much ME time until so far.. but I'm planning to change that tomorrow.... Soooo.. tomorrow will be MY day!

We've started the day today by dropping my parents off at the airport... they're heading to Los Angeles for a Cruise on the Panama Canal.. so cool.. I'm so jealous..hehe. I guess we'll have to be a little more patient.. in about 12 weeks it will be our turn to travel again.. hehe. On our way back we couldn't resist to stop and take a walk outside.. it's so beautiful in The Netherlands at the moment.. it's definitely Winter Wonderland (although it's really cold.. this week temperatures even dropped down to -20 degrees Celsius (that's about -4 degrees Fahrenheit).. brrrr.. really really cold. But we did manage to take some pictures...

I'll leave you all today with a little card that got pubbed in the previous issue of Cards Only magazine (I know I'm a bit late with posting my Xmas cards.. haha.. so sorry for that, patterned paper: Scenic Route):

    WOW! Great pictures! J'adore les touches de couleurs que ton manteau et que ton bonnet apportent aux photos... Je sens qu'elles vont bien aller avec les papiers Junkitz!!!

    C'est aussi froid chez vous qu'ici au Québec!!! brrrr...

    Love the pictures, sitting here in high 30+ heat its funny to see photos of snow . My DH is jealous he would love to switch places with you.
    His parents were both born in the Netherlands and he so wants to visit where they grew up.

    I am only new to visiting your blog,I found it through the Beautiful Hetty. I love your blog, all your beautiful cards are just so inspiring to view. I have put a link on my blog to your blog. I should make cards as I have so many scraps from my scrapbooking.

    I see that you got some beautiful photos of your and your partner with all the lovely snow and freezing weather that you are receiving in The Netherlands.

    Our family had an exchange student come live with us for 11 months from Nijmegen, Daniek sent me photos yesterday of the snow outside her house. It looks so cold, she hates the cold and she couldn't go for her driving exam on Fri due to the poor weather.
    I just wrote about Daniek's album that I am making for her on my blog. With a couple of photos of the album I am working on for her.

    Anyways hope you don't mind that I commented on your blog and look forward to seeing some more of your beautiful works of art!

    Wat een prachtige foto's. Erg leuke combi trouwens; roze jas met een groene sjaal en muts:) Wij genieten ook erg van de sneeuw en het (schaats)ijs, maar wel jammer dat je voor sneeuw meteen zo'n lage temperatuur moet hebben;)

    wat een superleuke winterfoto's en wat een gave roze jas heb je ! Ik heb vorige week ook een leuke winterjas gekocht, hij is zwart en de voering is van roze fleece en er zitten wat roze opdrukjes op de jas. Het is eigenlijk een skijas maar ik vind 'm zo ook heel erg leuk ;-)

    ik ben vorige week vrijdag even met mijn fotocamera en mijn hondje naar het amsterdamse bos geweest om foto's te gaan maken. het was werkelijk prachtig om te zien maar helaas was mijn vriend werken dus konden we geen leuke foto's van ons samen maken :-S
