Well, helloooooo there!!

Since it was going to be a perfect summer day today we decided to take the whole day off from work to go to the beach. Yesterday evening we started to prepare everything to be sure that we could leave really early in the morning..... until.... we looked out of our window when we woke up this morning.... It was all grey and dark.. just like it would start raining in a sec!!! NOOO!! This was soooo NOT what we had planned! Sooo.. just to be sure we stayed around the house......just doing some errands.... UGH! Such a pitty!!! The weather turned out not too bad at all.. but no beach weather.. that's for sure..

Last month I was challenged by CreativeXpress to work with some yummie Imaginisce "A shore thing" goodies. The layout definitely didn't turn out the way I wanted.... I really miss some details.. but I'm not sure what.. hehe.. (pictures: from our California trip in 2007)


Right now I'm working on some cute cards for my first ever card workshop on August 23rd in Doorn (The Netherlands)! So excited about that.. but I'm also kinda nervous if my creations will turn out the way I want!! I'm working with some yummie new American Crafts goodies!! YAY!! They are so colorful and fun to work with!


Ok, I'm going to make some coffee and sit down a little bit before returning to my scraptable!

    Sad the weather wasn't very well today.....
    I love your LO. I cann't think about something you miss.
    And august 23th......will be a loverly day and I'm sure you make gorgeous cards for that day.

    You should have been here today....almost 30 degrees in the shadow and really hot...not the kind of weather we are used to here in Norway LOL. Love the layout....real summer layout with fresh colours. You rock!

    Wat jammer, hier was het de hele dag schitterend weer en zooo ontzettend heet!
    Je lo is super en ik weet zeker dat je kaartjes voor de workshop dat ook zullen zijn!!!! Je bent een topper!!

    Sorry the weather didn't turn out as planned, but I'm sure it was better than the rainstorm in the Keys, right??? I love that layout - it's not missing a thing :-) HUGS!!!

    hoi Nancy, jammer dat je niet naar het strand kon! shit zeg! wij hebben het maar getroffen met het weer!!! lekker relaxen en zonnen op de camping! laptop en scrapspullen mee, al ben ik nog niet aan scrappen toegekomen! LOL! ben benieuwd naar je kaartjes voor cards at the castle! ik zelf ga de laatste week van mijn vakantie hiermee aan de slag! ik hoop ook dat mijn kaartjes worden zoals ik in de gedachte heb, heb al wel een soort sketchje gemaakt..hoe ik het in de gedachten heb! jou kaartjes zijn vast helemaal top...dat zijn ze altijd dus...geen twijfels meer hebben hoor! fijne dag nog! groetjes marije. (vanuit Drenthe) LOL!
