Another little workshop.. and a challenge!!!

I hope you're all enjoying your weekend until so far!!! We've been quite busy today.. buuuut.. as promissed I managed to prepare a little workshop for you all!!!

I would love to challenge YOU to create a card following this workshop and post it on your blog or somewhere else and add a link to your card in the comments section of this post at latest on Sunday April 27th!!! I've got an issue of Cards (March issue) ready overhere...(with 2 of my cards in it), I'll pick one random winner on Monday April 28th who will receive this awesome book! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

Needed: Piece of white cardstock in any size you want (distress the borders with ink or chalk), 1 large square piece of patterned paper, 1 larger strip of patterned paper, 2 tiny strips of patterned paper, 1 half circle rings, 2 small circles of patterned paper, 2 handcut flowers made from patterned paper, 2 clear buttons, a piece of floss, chipboard alphabet, 2 safety pins, 2 stickpins, Jewels, staples, Puffy Paint (or another kind of 3d paint), a hole puncher, a corner rounder and if possible a sewing machine to stitch without thread on the borders of the cardstock and patterned paper.
Get the white cardstock in front of you and fold it in half, then add the larger square piece of patterned paper to the front of the card (use your corner rounder to round the corners)
Glue the larger strip of patterned paper to the middle of the card and add the half circle ring to the upper part of the strip (as shown)..
Then add the 2 tiny strips of patterned paper and glue them on top of the larger strip of patterned paper (as shown)..
Take the 2 handcut flowers in front of you. Add holes to the flower petals (as shown)..
Take the 2 clear buttons in front of you and add the floss to the holes, then add some jewels to the button (as shown).
Start layering your flower now by starting with the flower, the small circle of patterned paper and then the altered button.
Add the 2 layered flower to the card (as shown)..
Adhere the title of the card (Chipboard or rubons) to lower right part of the card (or anywhere you want..) and add some staples too..
- Add little dots of puffy paint (or 3d paint) to the half circle ring
- Add 2 stickpins and 2 safety pins to the buttons to give it a finished look

YOUR CARD IS FINISHED NOW!
I really hope my explanation makes any sense.. hehe.. I'm aware of the fact that my English isn't 100% sometimes...hehe... So if you have any questions left.. just contact me!!!! Have fun with this little workshop.. Just can't wait to see what you come up with!!!!!

I'm having an exciting TOOT to share with you all too! I got an e-mail from Cards yesterday, requesting one of my cards for their September issue! WOOHOOO!!!!

I'm off to watch a movie with my sweetie now.. enjoy the rest of your Saturday..

HAPPY SCRAPPIN'!!!

XOXO
Nancy
